We use these respirators inside commerical chicken houses. They filter properly, fit comfortably, and with dual exhaust valves there is less sweating inside the mask. I have worked through a box of these and all functioned properly. They, also, have lasted for multiple days of use. I have tried five or six different dust masks and I highly recommend this one.

I have used the 3M mask similar to this one, it's very nice, fits well and doesn't fog my glasses. This one is good for a small head, is comfortable, and does the job. Nice larger two strap arrangement to keep a seal to the face. Nice air valve to dump air, nice on a hot day. But I have a larger head (I'm a big guy) and a dutch nose. This mask just doesn't fit me, blows air past my cheeks and into my safety glasses, not at all effective for me. I will be sending back and getting the 3M mask instead. They cost a few pennies more, but are worth it for me. If you have a larger face, consider the 3M 8511 resprirator instead.

My husband has to wear a respirator whenever outside working. He had Aspergillosis last summer and was told by the specialist to always wear one. He has found this particular one to be more comfortable with the wider bands. It is very effective at keeping out the dust and pollen.
