Used to pull rebar used to hold rolling gangways for boat docks on lake. Works best for me with the shorter tube so that I can grab near the ground. Bends the rod too much if "grabbed" at higher point. Base is also more stable with shorter tube. Tool does not come with allen wrench to adjust the gap on the "grabber". Must be metric as my US allen wrenches did not fit. Used vice grips to adjust.

I just received this toady and had to pull posts so I put it right to work. My main use for this was to pull temporary fence posts (we use T-posts and sucker rods) During the fall and winter the sucker rods can be near impossible to pull out due to freezing or deep mud; and I really hurt my back at times and bend the posts up. So I wanted to give this a try and it works great! Pulls the sucker rods up with little effort by me, exactly what I wanted!
