The control knob lets you adjust the volume and limits the sound produced inside the headset to 85dB for compliance with OSHA requirements. Soft-sealing ear cushions and padded headband make this earmuff comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The coiled cord extends up to 5 ft. Features larger speakers for excellent sound quality. Includes 2.5mm, 3.5mm and 6.4mm plug adapters. NRR 25. No batteries needed. Imported.

                    Comments about Elvex Plug-in Earmuffs:

                    Use these head sets when behind the mower, edger and blower. They don't get too loud (plugged into ipod) but thats what they are designed for. The outside sound blocking ability is outstanding, but they can be a bit warm if you are doing a lot of activity. Better to be used on a rider mower where you wouldn't sweat so much.
