The pliers themselves look as if they've been cast from something. Nothing like my old and time tested Channellocks that I've used for removing oil filters. These pliers are to be a replacement, however I do not have much faith in them. Build a tool to last a lifetime and you'll have customers forever ( a note to Channellock and Gemplers )...
