This 12-volt electric trailer jack allows you to quickly and effortlessly raise or lower your trailer with a simple push of a button for complete control and safety. Heavy-duty electric trailer jack uses hardened steel gears to ensure long life and smooth operation and is powder-coated for maximum durability. The electric trailer jack has a 3500-lb. lifting capacity and 5000-lb. breakaway capacity to assist with hitch ball release and features a three bolt universal pattern that lets you attach the jack to any standard A-frame trailer coupler. Jack quickly extends to 18" in less than 30 seconds (12" powered, plus an extra 6" by manual drop leg extension) and has an oversized 5-1/4" removable foot pad that keeps the tube clear of debris. Jack includes a manual crank override that lets you operate the jack if your battery goes dead, two side lights (one on each side) to help you hook up your trailer in the dark and built-in bubble leveling gauge. Jack measures 26-1/2" retracted. Imported.

NOTE: Jack fits couplers with 2-1/4" jack hole, will not fit 2" hole.

It didn't work on second try. Had to hand crank it down at night in the rain. The crank is on top after you remove three very small screws that holds on the level gauge then you can only turn the crank a half a turn because the L.P. tanks and cover prevent a full turn and that takes for ever. Think may be it tripped the circuit breaker that is sealed on the side and not accessible.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I installed the 12-volt jack on my 16-foot, tandem axle utility trailer which I use in my grass cutting business. My trailer stays loaded with mowers, trimmers, blowers etc. I connect/disconnect my trailer 3 or 4 times every week. I no longer dread manually cranking the original jack. I removed the 7-pin connector supplied with the electric jack and piggy-backed the two wires to the existing trailer harness connector.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Installed this jack on a Trail Manor trailer (3000lbs) and it has sufficient power to lift the entire trailer/axle up onto its rear stabilizer jacks. The Atwood tongue required enlarging the lower jack hole to 2-1/4 inches to accommodate the larger electric jack barrel.
