The hefty weight of the Billy Goat ® Power Rake makes quick work of tough dethatching jobs. This unit is heavier than competing models so that better contact is made with the thatching layer, resulting in less of the surging and stalling common in lighter versions. Operates on a powerful Honda ® GX 5.5-hp engine and removes matted thatch from turf in 20"W passes at a ½" to 1" rake depth. Unit thatches up to 13,200 sq. ft. per hour at 1.5 mph. Features cast iron bearings with grease fittings, heat-treated flails, foldable handles for easy storage, heavy-duty steel pulleys and adjustable idler pulley. Weighs 153 lbs. USA made.
