Product Information

Fimco ® 12-volt Pull-behind Spreader

  • Achieve even spreading at any speed
  • Features 15/600x6, 2-ply turf tires
  • USA made

The variable-speed control on this Fimco ® 12-volt Pull-behind Spreader, gives you the control and accuracy you need for large spreading jobs. Many tow spreaders are “ground driven,” which creates uneven spreading when your ATV, UTV or garden tractor speeds up or slows down. However, variable-speed control keeps the stainless steel, six-blade spinner on this spreader moving at a constant rate for even distribution of material, even when you slow to make turns. Includes a 5-cu.-ft., corrosion-resistant poly hopper. Holds up to 220 lbs. potash or 200 lbs. urea. Approved for fertilizer, seed, and bait, as well as granulars like insecticides, fungicides, herbicides and ice melting pellets. 5- to 45-ft. adjustable spread width. Features 15/600x6, 2-ply turf tires. Power cord from the battery to the controller is 8 ft. long and the cord from the controller to the spreader motor is 14 ft. long. USA made.

NOTE: Shipped by motor freight. Charges to be determined when order is placed.

Best Uses

Comments about Fimco 12-volt Pull-behind Spreader:

You have modify the gate control plate. It needed to be ground down to make it operate smoothly. It has an electric motor but a manual gate closure. I had to fabricate a remote handle to operate it from a cart. It took 3 hours of modifications to make it operational. After that it worked better than expected. I use it to fertilize 100 acres of road shoulders. Good product but you have to be handy around a mechanics shop.

About Me Professional Landscaper

Verified Buyer

Pros

  • Adjustable Settings
  • Easy to Use
  • Even Dispersal
  • Solid Construction

Cons

  • Does not stay open
  • Gate Control

Best Uses

  • Fertilizer

Comments about Fimco 12-volt Pull-behind Spreader:

Spreader does well, however gate control has to be held open as closes. It seems like it may need another spring or something, but the spreader does spread very evenly.
