Maximize the speed and maneuverability of your zero-turn radius mower by converting it into a powerful ZTR core aerator. Innovative front-mount design pushes from above the pivot axis to allow for full core plugger penetration without the need for cumbersome weight. Preset front caster keeps the unit from burying itself too deep. Each aerator set turns 360° so you don’t need to lift and reposition the unit when turning. Each plug cutter has a spring-loaded design for clean removal from the turf without ripping out a ragged hole. Covers a 64"-wide path. Core tines are on 7" centers. Attachment requires the universal mounting bar (Item No. 171265). USA made.

Comments about Core Aerator - ZTR Mower:

Each aerator set installs from the bottom and is held in with a washer and cotter pin on the top. The cotter pins are too soft and wear out quickly from all the motion and pounding. Stock up on large washers and cotter pins and expect to lose them in your yard. If the shafts were longer you could drill a larger hole and put in a shear pin, etc. The weak design holding each side arm in place bent after a few uses and I only used it when the soil was soft after heavy rains.Very loud because of all the movement, which means it is getting beat up hard and wearing out quickly.Never dug in too much like they state, even if you adjusted the front caster off the ground. Maybe it would work great if your lawn were already like a golf course green with a nice loamy soil.Poor design[...], requires too many improvements for the money spent. Plan on getting a good pull behind and sacrificing the manueverability of the ZTR, it will be worth the money and hassle.
