Disappointed that the start time appears fixed at 6:30am (in Mode 1; in Mode 2, think there is a second watering time, also fixed). Although if that is a problem, you could always set a fake clock time so that "6:30am" starts whenever you really want it to. Haven't actually hooked it up yet; hope to do that soon. If it works, I probably won't edit this, so no news is good news!

This is the second Nelson timer I have bought. The first works great and has so for over a year. Second one I purchased in Spring 10. Hit the end of the summer and the timer does not hold it's time. It also just comes on and off again by itself every 5 min. Put in multiple new batteries, set the time then put it in timer mode to go off at 6am the next morning. Within minutes, it starts to go on and off again all by itself and the time goes to midnight. Am just trashing it.

The product does a great job of allowing me to water the lawn at the best time of the day without having to be there.
