Due to the changing climate in our area, some of our lawn areas had become to wet to even walk on during the winter. I have tried spreading sand during the winter but it really did not help. I even utilized pea gravel for the last two winters. I spread the gravel evenly over the lawn to a depth of at least and inch and then let the grass grow through the gravel. However, the lawn was still soggy both last year and again this year. I needed to be able to get my tractor across the lawn but found it left large depressions; I even sank in a little just walking on the lawn. In addition, I ave French Drains for the lawn but even they no longer keep the lawn firm.
I decided to try the Yard Protection Mesh since I had run out of other ideas. I spread and anchored the Yard Protection Mesh and was able to drive over the lawn, even with my pickup truck. The grass is already growing through the mesh and it is almost invisible, even though we are a long way from Spring. I have just purchased additional mesh and intend on covering all of the areas where I have had trouble driving (or even walking) on the lawn. This product was a real life saver. The only reason I did not give five stars is that I had not tried a similar product and was not sure how other products might compare.
