Frame and universal ATV mounting brackets are constructed from steel and powder coated to prevent rust. Holds up to 145 lbs. potash or 99 lbs. urea. It's not all good

I bought this to use to spread granular herbicide. Unfortunately when I received it there was no way it was ready to work. The housing around the spreader blades was not even close to aligned and wouldn't turn because it was so out of alignment. The gate would only close half way. The directions said to bend it to get it as tight or loose as needed. I would have had to use a hammer. After some grinding and trimming in my shop I could make it work. I called Fimco and talked to a technician after the first one they had me leave a message for didn't call back. He really didn't care about anything I had to say and said he was glad I was willing to try to fix it.
The variable speed is nice and the mounting system is very solid.

This speader is of heavy construction and should be good for much use. Just received mine today and mounted on ATV, not much assembly required. Gate opening did not operate correctly until I added an extra rubber washer. Place one between item 26 & 30 and between 30 & 27. numbers pertain to parts manual dated 05/11. Will use on cattle farm that I own and operate. Made in USA same as me

I mounted mine on the front of the ATV, just made better sense being able to see how and where it spreads. It could use a little better shield, a little longer and welded top and bottom so material does not get in behind the shield. Dispenser holds 100 lbs. 19-19-19 fertilizer. I had to use a 1 1/2" wood block to raise the spreader on my front bracket and longer u-bolts to match. Overall, very good product.

We're using this spreader on a farm to broadcast plant pasture grasses. It works very well and broadcasts evenly. I'd give it a five if it wasn't for the several hours we had to spend re-working things that weren't assembled properly and didn't function right out of the box. Until they do better on building them, this is not for someone who does not have the ability to "make things work". The overall design is brilliant and works very well once built properly.

I use this spreader in my food plot business to spread fertilizer in small plots and spread small seed. I thought variable speed would work for logging trails,but inferior engineering,you can not put 50lbs. in it without the mounting brackets bending.The spinner blade constantly loosens because there is no indents for the set screws in the shaft thus uneven or no spread of material.
