I needed a 36" deep hole to bury a 1-1/2" pipe to apply copper sulphate to intrusive tree roots around our sewer service line. The auger, along with a powerful electric drill made it possible to create a clean hole through hard clay and many small roots. We will undoubtedly use it for other gardening purposes; but it's already paid for itself.

I needed an auger for digging fence posts for a gated driveway entrance, but had to be strong and durable, believe me this auger has performed better than expected. I was going through extremely hard rocky soil thinking maybe I would destroy the auger in the process, since it was desigined for landscaping soil...this is one "tough auger" after twelve posts, and chunks of concrete!! It still looks like new too, without any damage! I would recommend it to anyone; it's truly a "quality product," and extremely strong! LEE
