- Includes 1 bacteria test bottle and 2 nitrate test strips
Easy-to-use kit allows you to screen your water for dangerous levels of E. coli and coliform bacteria. Just fill the vial with warm water, shake and allow to sit in a warm area (70°F to 90°F) for 48 hours. A color change from purple to yellow will indicate a high level of potentially harmful bacteria. Kit also includes one nitrate and nitrate test strip. USA made. NOTE: Screening test only and cannot be used to certify drinking water as safe or unsafe.
