I bought these do to the price and to maybe help extend the life of my leather work boots at work. The metal stamping oil we use damages the leather so quickly that I have to replace my work boots in about 10 to 12 months. Thought this product could help protect my expensive work boots. So far they are doing that well. The only slight drawback is that the rubber overboots can be somewhat difficult stretching over my work boots. They can also be a bit slippy on the oil, as well as the grease that drips off of the press. But no more so than the most work boots themselves. But if these overboots continue to protect my work boots, it is well worth the effort of putting them on.

I have worn Tingely overshoes and boots for many years and consider them a fine product. Size XL used to fit perfectly, but not with the new "Longer and Wider" fit. Unless you are going to wear these over monster lug-tread work shoes/boots, consider buying a size smaller. I just returned mine for a refund. [...] I'll buy them locally.

work on a golfcourse and wear these over my boots everyday. get at least 8 months of wear before any wear holes appear. Feet stay dry and warm while getting so much longer wear out of my work boots.

Wear heavy lace boots because of running subcompact tractor and various other rual type equipment. Had to go up a size to get a fit that wasn't too tight, as they broke in they are not as stiff and streatch better but still can be a bit of a struggle for a Seinor Citizan to get on and off. Otherwis they are great.

My teenage son works in the galley of a fast food restaurant. The floors can get greasy and slippery. He is required to wear black shoes and after ruining 3 pairs of leather dress-type shoes, I ordered him a pair of these Tingley work rubbers. It took a little persuading to get him to give them a try for work, but he found that they work out great.
They keep his shoes clean and provide slip-resistant footing. He also found that if he keeps his laces tucked in, he can wear his basketball shoes under them and so far (after 1 month), no dress code objections from management.
Its great that he can take them off and his shoes underneath are clean and not greasy! He tells me that one of his coworkers has also bought a pair and wears them over his shoes.

Have been wearing these for years & will continue; but sizing can be a challenge. 3XL fits my 12D Redwing work boots about right; 1XL fits 12D roper-style (narrower) boots. Durability is also interesting; one pair will last a year, then one of the next pair will tear soon after taking them out of the box. but they're so lightweight compared to 2 or 5-buckle overshoes, & let me wear good-fitting work boots instead of wearing out socks in tall rubber boots, that I'll sure keep using them.
