      Comments about Council Pulaski Axe:

I use the Pulaski Axe to do the dirty work in clearing out small trees in the dirt from the woods. It keeps my tree cutting axe (purchased separately) sharp as I use the Pulaski to chop into the roots and stump part of the tree. Expect the highest quality from the folks at Council Tool — all USA and solidly built. The handle does best if treated with Tried & True™ original wood finish (sold separately, beeswax/linseed oil). A superb tool that should be part of any woods clearing operation.

        Comments about Council Pulaski Axe:

This is the most important yard work tool I own. We live in an area with nothing but clay hardpan. When I need to dig and excavate an area, this is the ONLY tool that will get the job done. Clay - no problem. Roots up to 4 inches - no problem. Small rocks - no problem. I had to put in 200 feet of perimeter drainage around our house and this baby was the key to gettin' it done.

This goes on the ATV, very useful for chopping small limbs off fallen trees. Digging holes, digging to pull out small trees w/ Grabber or chain. I had high winds take out 20 trees on tank dam. Excellent tool to have on tractor and ATV at all times. Will order another.
