I bought these rain pants in conjunction with the Helly Hansen Rain Jacket. As rain pants they perform very well, and offer excellent wind protection. The problem is mostly getting them on and off. My biggest disappointment was the elastic drawstring at the waist, which really doesn't do the job. They always felt like they were about to fall down on me, until I invested in a set of clamp-type suspenders, which did the job, but materially add to the time and effort needed to put them on and take them off. Without a zipper fly, taking care of personal matters could become a problem if I'm in a hurry. Other than that, I'm good with them.

I work for an airline company and am outside for most of my work schedule;I like it because it's waterproof and feels comfortable.

Worked very well One thing is some of the stitching came loose in the waist seam. I restitched it with a leather awl and it is fine now

Bought these and the matching jacket for a trip to Alaska. Comfortable even though they are totally waterproof. Pants were 32 I usually take a 30 but still worked well
