      Comments about Ames True Temper Wood Splitting Wedge:

      This is a very impressive wedge for splitting wood by hand, but although I've used it for a variety of hardwoods in logs ranging from 7" to 18" in diameter I have yet to see it so much as attempt to provide "force in four directions for more efficient splitting".

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
