I purchased the 72 inch reacher to put ice melt tablets in my eaves troths when they build up with ice in the winter. This is a very lightweight, easy to open and close and finally I don't have to climb a ladder to keep the ice from backing up under the eaves. I am 64 years old, 5'2, a woman and a happy one thanks to this reacher. Well made! Thanks!

For someone who had major back surgery, this is a must have item. I can now do jobs otherwise I couldn't do because of the bending over to pick up items. I have tried other pick up tools, but none compare to this one. It has a very strong grip and doesn't drop items once you latch onto them. I am going to purchase several more in different lengths to fit any job that I can think of. Now the first thing I reach for after getting out of bed is, my glasses then my pick up tool. Very well built and very well priced for the quality.

Got this mainly for my wife.She is short and uses it to reach items out of her reach in cabinets and on shelves.

The grabber is MUCH shorter than 24". It is well suited for a little kid, or someone in a wheel chair. The workmanship and materials are excellent and I will have to buy another of a much longer length. I suggest calling first to get an accurate measure of the length as this one is barely 18".
