Hand-Operated Sieve Shaker
Ideal for running tests when electric power is not available
Designed to determine particle size distribution of fine and coarse aggregates, this shaker consists of a cradle for holding the sieves and a base. The cradle consists of a platform fastened to the lower ends of two vertical support rods, the upper ends of which are shock mounted to a horizontal support that’s free to pivot about its mounting. A sieve holder, retaining ring and nuts on the vertical support rods hold the top bar firmly against the rest of the sieves. For use with 3", 5" and 8" sieves. Can handle up to ten 8" sieves, twelve 5" sieves and sixteen 3" full-height sieves or eighteen half-height 8" sieves. Measures 45"H x 15"W x 15"D. USA made.
