This emergency hand crank radio is ideal for those times when you may not have access to AC power. Features a dynamo crank to recharge the radio without an external power source. This NOAA radio is loaded with features, including AM/FM radio, backlit LCD display, clock with alarm, freeze alert, flashlight and an alert override that automatically switches from radio to weather alerts. Flashlight and LCD flash during alerts. Includes USB port for electronic device charging. May be powered by dynamo crank, AC adapter (included) or three "AAA" alkaline batteries (not included). I would use this product for emergency's such as power outages, storm warnings and ocasional personal listening,music or ballgames. It has everything needed as far as I am concerned.
