          Comments about Corona Thinning Shear:

I grow annuals, bulbs and perennials with a lot of shrubs.
I have several pairs of pruners and use the ones that best fit the tasks I am working on. I am cointent to use the lighter weight ones when working with the annuals and perennials and sometimes I have need to clip the old and faded blooms on bulbs rather than pinching. I would recommend this product for its ease of use.

I've used this model for years and years. I have been getting my old ones sharpened because I couldn't find them new. I hope Gempler's continues to offer these.

            Comments about Corona Thinning Shear:

I bought these because I needed to prune and shape the young trees in my grove. I like the Corona needle nosed thinning shears because I can surgically remove branches that are tangled with other branches, and not accidentally cut too much. The blades and frame of the shears are forged steel and very strong, so sometimes when I need to lop off a bigger branch, I just do it with these. I have been using them heavily for about two months and absolutely love them. I have seen no wear except normal discoloration of the steel on the cutting edges. I will only buy these from now on, since they satisfy my grove cutting needs and are not as expensive as some other brands which are not better than the Corona clippers.
