Very easy to use, it does not tangle and is very strong material for staking medium size (2 to 4 inch diam.) trees. If you want to make your loop tighter or looser, it is very easy to undo the knot you have tied. Time will tell how the material stands up to the weather elements.

I used this product to brace newly planted trees. It appears that the soft material will not harm the bark. Just put it on a week ago, so still need to watch it to see if it holds moisture or breaths well at the contact point of the bark. Upper knot instructions worked well. Would like to see suggestions or maybe a crimping device for the knot at the stake end.

I bought this product to help hold up my newly planted trees. The landscaper had used clothesline wire and it kept breaking. This works great. Easy to use and very strong.

For years I've been improvising tree supports with rope (not good for the bark) rubber hose (a nuisance) and even the legs of discarded pantyhose (I'm a guy, so they're not easy to come by). Then I realized Gempler's sells something that's made for the job and does it perfectly. I've only been getting the catalog for 20 years, but I suppose I could have gone on my whole life doing it wrong.
