Protect from rain, wind, birds and insects with seed guard
This reusable polypropylene seed guard fabric will protect your newly seeded lawn from potential losses from rain, wind, birds and insects. Seed guard provides a 90-95% seed germination rate under favorable conditions, compared to approximately 65% when using hay or straw. Seed guard is also cleaner and easier to remove than other covers and won't introduce weeds into your new yard. The bulk rolls can also be used to provide insect and frost protection. Fabric weighs 0.5 oz. per square yard and is treated to minimize UV deterioration. Remove the fabric 2 to 3 weeks after seeding or before the first mowing. 12'x1,000' roll weighs 47 lbs. Imported.
