      This is my 3rd pair, my only problem is I forget they are in my pocket and wash them, they don't do so good after a washing machine hits them.
      I have been using these for 3 years and love them.
      yes they are ear buds and yes they are in your ear some times that is a little uncomfortable, but most of the time they are in my ear for 4+ hours a day and I do just fine.
      I like these better than the earmuff type especially during the summer. the muffs make my ears become hot and sweaty , these my
      I on a lawnmower, tractor, they work great. I listen to music, podcasts, audio books. they work great.

      I do grounds maintenance which means I'm on a lawnmower for 8 hrs a day, and I've gotten two pairs of these EAR buds for work. The first pair lasted about 2 months before one of the ear pieces when dead from a loose connection at the jack. You can wiggle the cord and hear the sound going in and out. So I returned them and got a second pair. Those lasted just over a month before the exact same thing happened. I didn't even bother returning them because I've read on other sites people complaining about the same thing.

        I helped order over 40 of these (directly from E.A.R.)for coworkers and every one of them quit working. But get the replaceable rubber ear plugs and fit them on JVC earbuds and you are in business.

          This is the second set of these esr buds I have purchased. The second unit has a different design for the plug connection. The new design is straight. The older design has a 90deg connection. The new connection sticks way out to the side of my radio and can not be carried im my pocket. The connection has already failed. I am not impressed. i love this idea but if the design does not chang eback then I will not buy again. By the way the picture I bought from showed a 90 deg connection.

                This is my second unit. i really the the fit and idea of having hearing prodection and being able to listen to my radio. My major problem with the unit I just bought is someone redesigned the RCA plug from a 90 degree to a straight plug. This is not a good idea and will just mean the unit will fail sooner and I will go elsewhere to replace it.
                So if you return to the 90 degree plug i would recommend it, otherwise no.
