Protect your plants from snails and slugs with this OMRI Listed™ Sluggo ® slug and snail bait that is safe for use around domestic animals and wildlife. Active ingredient in Sluggo slug and snail bait is 1% iron phosphate, which is an organic compound that breaks down into fertilizer for your garden or yard. Simply scatter Sluggo slug and snail bait in evenings around plants. May be used in gardens up to the day of harvest. 10-lb. bottle. Made in Germany.

Sluggo works to get rid of slugs, but you have to be diligent to keep re-applying. Once the small pellets are gone, re-apply. One application lasted me a little over a month, but depends on your watering etc. I liked that it was safe for pets too.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
