These are the same boots you wore as a kid, only improved over time. Unlike the past Caribou, these boots are completely waterproof. It starts with a handcrafted vulcanized rubber bottom. The upper uses a specially treated leather and seam-sealing to provide a 100% waterproof boot. Removable 9mm ThermoPlus® felt liner adds warmth on days when the temperature is below freezing. A 2.5mm felt frost plug (designed to minimize the effect of the cold ground) is bonded to the inner footbed for additional thermal protection. Traditional rubber Bob outsole for greater stability and traction. Acrylic/wool blend cuff to prevent the snow from entering the boot top. D-ring lace-up system. 9" height. Elderberry color.
