The bypass action of this pruner makes it ideal for cutting tough living plants up to 3/4" thick, cutting cleanly without crushing branches or tearing bark. Precision-ground blades produce a clean cut, minimizing the effort needed for each cut. Heavy-duty internal springs open the blade after each cut minimizing hand fatigue.
