You can quickly label your plants using a laser printer using these stakes. I use an hp laserjet 5L and it's working pretty well. They seem to be color fast in the sun, so far they've held up for 15 months in some of my perennials.

I bought these to use in plants I'll be selling in May. THe first round has been in pots for a month and haven't faded. They are a plastic material so they hold up well.
