The blade guard and larger size allow for easy cutting of trees and limbs that are up to 6" in diameter. I used it to clear hiking trails, prune trees and remove limbs from previously felled lumber. Cuts easy, nice design and is good quality.

Who needs a small, noisy, smelly, and hard to start chainsaw when you can use a saw like this? The very stiff rigid frame w/ adjustable tensioning blade ensures the cut is straight. The blade does not twist while cutting like ordinary bows saws. I was able to make a straight cut across the 6" diameter trunk on Douglas Fir christmas tree. The blade never wandered. It's a real tool, not a cheap piece of junk.
