Use this to cut small growth around a bike trail. Couple of points regarding discription: head does pivot, but only about 20 degrees, not much different then when straight; telescoping has only a single setting. I found when pivoting head the handle refused to automatically return to open after a cut and I had to manually open the handles for the next cut. With head straight this did not happen. Overall doesn't feel like a really qualty piece of equipment.

This pruner is amazing. The articulated head is really handy to allow a good view of the exact position of the cut. The multiple length settings allow for reaching comfortably up to various heights.
I will no longer be risking my neck balancing a ladder next to an ornamental tree or the large euonymous that I have growing up trellises.
I wish I had known this tool existed years ago. Buy one. Do it now. You won't regret it.

This allows me to trim trees at a much higher level than I was able before. It works perfectly.
