ARS has redesigned this lightweight telescoping pruning shears to improve strength and ease of use. Pivoting head on the ARS pruning shears can now be locked to the left, right or straight for those hard-to-reach cutting jobs. Internal mechanism has been strengthened to increase lifespan and reduce downtime. The telescoping pin has also been changed from a double to a single lever for easier operation. This ARS pruning shears also features a drop-forged, cut-and-hold blade with a nonslip, plastic-coated ergonomic handle that rotates 180°. 4-ft. to 7-ft. models weigh 2.4 lbs. 6-ft. to 10 ft. models weigh 3.0 lbs.
