I've looked for many years for the perfect Cargo pants. Tough, good fitting - although the flannel lined runs one inch smaller than the non lined pants. Cargo pockets do not snag on things like cabinet knobs (really annoying). I have spilled stain and glue on these pants and have used laquer thinner to get the bulk of it off...so what I'm saying is I destroy pants for a living and these keep taking the abuse! Took a few years of daily wear to develop the first blowout in a thigh seam. I'm buying a lifetime supply!

These are wonderful pants with regards to the comfort, rip-stop fabric and style for work needs. Initially the flannel was fine and felt great. But shortly it became apparent that the flannel was very thin and started to rip and basically shred in the knee area. I would love to order more, but the flannel is paper thin. Unless I hear of a better quality flannel in a new stock, I am not wasting the money.

These pants have held up for many years of abusing these pants. I finally had to break down and buy some new ones because I had wore these pants thread bare.

Comments about Riggs Workwear Flannel-lined Ripstop Cotton Cargo Pants:

My only complaint is that the main top waist pockets are very tight. There is very little give in the front of the pocket (the part that spreads from your body), making it hard to get almost anything in and out of the main pockets that is an more than very flat. My cell phone is almost too thick to get in and out of the pocket. The cargo pockets on the legs are very nice. Other than that they are warm and seem durable.

Comments about Riggs Workwear Flannel-lined Ripstop Cotton Cargo Pants:

I am looking for fleece or flannel lined cargo pant to work outside in. These sound great. They rip stop outer seems durrable. The flannel lining part is misleading.
The flannel is paper thin. I can't see getting any warmth out of it. I have not worn them outside yet as I may return them.

I'd really like a pair of these with fleece or an actual flannel lining for warmth to work outside.

For the cost I would it reccomend them at this time. Thicker flannel or fleece would change this decision.
