The Ooze Tube® is an innovative tree watering system, designed by an ISA-certified arborist, that allows you to control drip rate. Each Ooze Tube includes drip emitters that you attach to the bottom of the tube. Includes one emitter. Ooze Tube also promotes root growth by gradually decreasing water output as the tube empties. As the tree receives less water, it sends out "feeder" roots attempting to get more. Each unit includes drip emitter and a wooden stake to secure the tube at the tree location.
Multiple units can be connected for trees with a 5" dia. or larger. They can be used on any tree, including evergreens, multi-stem and low-branch species. All units are reusable and repairable with common duct tape. USA made.

The ooze tube seems to be a great idea. I will know more later. The 5 that we got two of them leak and were missing the emmiter packs. May have been from the shipping. They leak near the seams. I do like the idea a lot. I feel they will do two jobs for us. Water and keep the soil cooler. We need them both here in south Texas. 91 today.

I would have paid more for a heavier bladder and a positive pre installed valve seat...if not exact with valve install there is additional leaking around the emitter which lessens the time the water is dispensed

I used these for the first time this season on my fruit trees, I tested them out by using them on half of my trees and the trees with the ooze tubes had larger, healthier fruit. I am going to buy more tubes for all of my fruit trees for the next season... excellent product.

The ooze tube is a great idea. Just make sure the ground where you plan to use it is flat. Otherwise, the water pools to one side and refuses to ooze in the proper place.
