I am an apple grower in Michigan and I do all sorts of outdoor cold wet work, throwing chains , prunning trees, shoveling snow, plowing and the list goes on. I have to say these gloves have stood up and have kept me warm and dry...i like them so much i bought 3 more pair in case they stop making them..

I've been stationed at the South Pole in Antarctica for the past 8 months and these gloves are the best I've seen yet. I walk for two hours outside at -95F and my hands stay warm even without hand warmers. Hard to believe? Maybe. But true.

Needed something for snow blowing and shoveling large amounts of snow for several hours. These gloves have kept my hands dry and warm; no more numb,frozen fingers!
Also, good grips for handling the blower/shovel.

I have had these very expensive gloves for two weeks, I have worn them four times, and the stitching on the palms is already fraying and coming unstitched! I am having to super glue them together again in order to keep it from getting worse! This is Disgraceful! For what I payed for these gloves THEY ARE JUNK...CHEEP CHINESE MADE JUNK!..They failed me right when I needed them and this is unfortunately becoming a common occurance with all the Carhartt products I have purchased ..!
