Product must be applied with a hose-end sprayer. Then you have to deliver the product to the grubs with a significant amount of water. Previous to this year we had a lot of rain and thus didn't have to irrigate as much. This year was dry and required a lot of water for the product to be effective. It definitely works! Have used it for three years and succes every year. Doesn't completely eliminate the mole trails. You will occasionally observe some minor evidence of moles checking out the grubs and they quickly realize how bad they taste and go no further. Money saving tip: my yard borders a field on one side and a woods on another. I spray only about 25-30 ft in on each side. I have never sprayed the hole yard. The critters have yet to bridge the gap. I apply twice a season, in spring and fall.
