I think this product does actually repel deer and rabbits, however, the previous reviewer is exactly right about the sprayer. It does not work AT ALL. I ended up just dumping it all over the ground and used up six gallons in a month since obviously I used WAY more this way. Even if the sprayer were better I think the big chunks would cause problems. We are thinking about buying bulk and spraying our whole property with our farm sprayer.

Light rain will decrease the effectiveness of this product and heavy rain will most apparently significantly reduce its affect for rabbits when protecting naturally transplanted wildflower food species.

Went large volume Liquid Fence because it was cheaper. BUT from the beginning it was a mistake! Sprayer was useless as it was nearly impossible to get the suspension to keep coming up the tube and it when it did, it kept getting clogged. AND this was with shaking the suspension lots! So, this meant going to refilling the smaller bottle I had. Pouring from a larger opening to a smaller one is not good, but even worse when you have lumps in the bigger container. Not only did it not keep our local deer from eating plants like roses and hydrangea, the suspension seems to adversely affect some plants. Specifically spots leaves, some of which die on some plants. If you find something that REALLY works, PLEASE let me know - Liquid Fence is NOT it.
