I bought this belt in October 2010. It's now August 2013.

This is one of the best work belts I have ever owned, and it can double as a dressier belt if required.

This belt is made of heavy-duty nylon webbing and is sturdy enough not only to hold up your pants, but also to hold up junk you might want to hang on your belt. Mine holds my cell phone and flashlight virtually every time I have it on. It is stiff enough to carry a heavy tool pouch or a pistol without sagging.

I wear this belt with all my work clothes. This amounts to 4-5 days a week, all day. It still looks very good. A close inspection will show a very small amount of fraying at the tip, but not enough to notice at a glance. When it gets to be noticeable, I'll melt the frayed strands with a hot piece of steel. To be honest, even if I had to buy a new belt at this point I'd feel that I have gotten my money's worth out of it already. I'm sure it's good for another three years though.

Read through these reviews. With only one exception they are all four and five stars. The single exception is because of fraying. I expect that if it showed up early, the warranty would get that reviewer a new belt. One of the reviewers gave the belt four stars instead of five and commented, "nice belt just the velcro i can tell wont last". [His spelling and punctuation, not mine.] So apparently without actually waiting for the Velcro to wear out, the reviewer ASSUMES that it will. In the three years I've had my belt, the Velcro has worked fine.

I hesitated for a while before spending this kind of money on a web belt. I shouldn't have waited. You shouldn't either.

I have not had this belt very long but i wear it daily to carry my leatherman tool. It is fraying badly where it goes thru the buckle to adjust the length. The rest of the belt seems in perfect condition. Not sure if I bought from Gemplers or your sister company B Meadows as you both carry the same item

The great thing about these belts is that they are relatively flat, so I can wear a back brace (lumbar support) with them.
