Comments about Kinco 18-oz. Cotton Flannel Chore Gloves:

These are not near the quality chore gloves that Gempler's sold before. Always ordered from Gemplers, because I could get the size I needed, (JUMBO) but won't be ordering these again. They don't last and are not nearly as warm as the original 18 oz. chore gloves.

Comments about Kinco 18-oz. Cotton Flannel Chore Gloves:

I retract my positive review, which was based on an older pair of original quality gloves. Kinco has reduced the thickness of their Chore Glove nearly 30%, from about 70 mills to 50 mills thickness. The original thick, cotton flannel (the 70 mills) is now a layered fabric of thin flannel laminated to a thin polyester backing. This eliminates the advantages of long wear, padding, warmth. I am sorry if I misled other customers. I have returned my new-style Kinco gloves.

I RETRACT THIS EARLIER Comment about Kinco 18-oz. Cotton Flannel Chore Gloves.

I am aware of the negative comments, yet these are my favorite gloves for heavy and rough carrying, and for all chores once cold weather starts. The matted flannel is totally wind-proof. The 18oz weight is protective. Only the bulky seams stand in the way of 5 stars. But yes, I'm not using these for a tough 8-hour work day.
