Respond to class A, B and C rated fires quickly and effectively with these tri-class 2.5 lb dry chemical fire extinguishers. Tri-class chemical consists of monoamonium phosphate dry chemical, which is 4 to 5 times as effective as an equal weight of water on class A fires. Use 2.5 lb dry chemical extinguishers to combat fires in ordinary combustible materials such as wood, cloth, paper, rubber and many plastics (Class A), as well as fires in flammable liquids, gases and greases (Class B) and fires involving energized electrical equipment (Class C). Cylinders are constructed of a seamless, welded steel shell and are 100% hydrotested to 600 psi. Tough polyester-urethane powder paint is applied to the exterior of the cylinder. Extruded aluminum valve body and stainless steel valve stem improve performance. Metal pull ring on 2.5 lb dry chemical fire extinguishers prevents accidental activation.
