These are the best winter boots for the money! I am ordering my third pair. The first pair I had for 25 years. Years!! They met their match in a dog named Daisy, who chewed them a bit, wrecking the tongue on one, and dislodging a grommet on the other. Both fleecy cuffs were devoured. They actually still work, but are somewhat unsightly. I sprang for a new pair of black ones last year, but they were recently commandeered by a son who outgrew his kid-sized pair. Once he discovered that my black ones fit, that was it! I now am getting the flint color, so we won't mix them up. My feet have never been cold in these boots, and they offer a lot of traction. We live in Truckee, Calif., and this winter we have gotten over 700 inches of snow! The boots are a little clunky, but that equals warmth and durability! We can't live without them!

When I received these boots I was surprised how big and bulky they were. They looked like my husband's boots. They have no ankle support and they are far too wide at the toes. I returned them.
