The flexible shaft helps tremendously to get disease control spray under and on top of rose leaves. I have 19 hybrids roses. I bought the part April 2010 and have used it about 12 spray sessions, bending it once per rose. Today it started leaking where the flex shaft enters the wider collar that screws onto the sprayer. There is no seal there, and when you look into the wider collar on mine you can see that the end that is showing it is no longer round. It leaks badly, and the leak started suddenly on one bend. Unless Solo backs this part longer than a year I cannot recommend it for regular bending.
