I purchased 3-4 of these over the past 4-5 years and they have performed well until just the other day when one of my (very competent) employees adjusted the unit. As he adjusted it to his head size, one of the black hard plastic pieces on the side of the earmuff (the part the adjustable metal slides into) split on two sides and Howard doesn't appear to sell this as a replacement part. Good product, but be forewarned!

I bought 2 pairs of these to keep in the shop and in my garden shed. I really like the high NRR value. I always wear earplugs when doing projects that require more than a hour or so. These are ideal for shorter use projects. I think they would be more comfortable if they covered the entire ear, but you might sacriface the high NRR value which is very important to me.
