The Nelson timers that I have used in the past have worked well, unlike other brands that I have tried that leak or are more difficult to use. They do not leak or break down, even after years of use,as long as I remember to remove and store them during freezing weather.

I purchased my first hose bib mechanical timer from a major retail store and was disappointed in the quality. But since this was for my mother in Oklahoma I had to settle. When I saw Gempler's carried a similar devise I was hopeful of better quality, and was NOT disappointed. Due to the severe drought and a broken lawn irrigation system I had to spot water to maintain the Floratam St Augustine grass.
