Simply mix mulch magic with water and apply to faded mulch using a handheld or backpack sprayer. Color will last on most mulches for more than a year with gradual fading. this makes beds look like you just 'threw' the mulch; add a little green lawnger (from Gempler's too) and you've got jet black mulch against a green, green lawn, especially nice in southern climates, with dormant lawns . . . it's like painting, though, and the downside is you could paint 'outside the lines', i.e. rocks, driveways, shrubs; so be careful (it stains), and make sure you're using a good quality sprayer . . . other than that, you'll be the Picasso of your neighborhood . . . :-)

Ok product, neede 3 coats to cover. Fades out in about 2 months. Dries fast. Wipes off plants easily if caught in time. It's a good band-aid but not a summer long solution.
