Got these last minute for a craft fair that specifically stated that I needed 40 lbs per tent leg or I couldn't show. Ordered these within a few days before the show...[...] The weight bags were easy to fill and my husband (who filled them for me) noted that it looked like I could still add more sand, but not sure if that would hurt them since they're meant for just 40 lbs. They held up great during my show, which was an awful, down-pouring rainy, windy day. I even had 2 other vendors piggy-back and put their tent legs in with mine and it still held everything down to the ground. The only con was that since it was pouring rain, they were soaked through and must've weighed close to 60-70 lbs each when super wet... not fun to carry one at time back to my car and took forever to dry out (3-4 days). Still, super happy with them and Gemplers!

Simply put, they did as advertised. Easy to attach to tent poles, easy to move around, if you can handle 40#.
