Trickle charger is connected to the gate control box by a continuous length of 16-gauge low-voltage wire. Battery provides backup during power outages. Built-in safety obstruction sensor stops and reverses gate travel if it comes into contact with a vehicle, animal or person. Opener code can be customized for added security.
