I bought this to put under my dogs' crates at agility trials. It is waterproof, folds well, is machine washable, and helps to insulate from cold concrete floors. I was tired of tripping on the cheap vinyl tarps that I had been using. Used it this past weekend, and I am very happy with it.

I peform maintenance and repairs on alternative waste water systems. The systems are usually over septic tanks and many times the components are well below the ground level and you have to lie down and reach into the risers. I have used many rugs and pads and plastic to keep dry and safe from fire ants. Nothing has worked as well as this mat. It is very flexible, easy to fold and store and most importantly waterproof. I bought 2 and have enjoyed them immensely. No more soggy knees or wet shirts when I repair a systems. I have only washed them once but it was quite easy. I just washed them in a standard washer and I decided to hang them in the shop overnight for them to dry. No shrinkage or shrivelling. I have also used them working on trucks and equipment in the garage or drive way and even though it is thin it provides a lot of protection. Everyone needs one to keep in their trunk for emergencies.
