Tru-check rain gauge accurately measures 0.01-6" of rainfall

This tru-check rain gauge is a smooth, one-piece molding of heavy weather-resistant plastic with integrated plastic mounting tabs. Permanent markings on the tru-check rain gauge are clear and easy to read. Wedge-shaped tru-check rain gauge is 13" long and has a top opening of 2-1/2" x 2-1/4". Weighs 1 lb.
NOTE: Metal bracket no longer included.

Great example of a product that has been cheapened to the point of dissatifaction. Mounts via slotted screw holes through plastic ears with two tiny screws which by the way are not rust proof or rust resistant. Now to empty the gauge you must remove it from the post by sliding it up off of the mounting screws. The slotted holes are too far apart to mount to a 4" X 4" post or a verticle 2" x 4".
