I've had two pairs of Timberland Pro 6 inch water proof boots. The soles on the first pair just split and the boots became unuseable I had used them quite a while(however I still expected better wear) so I bought another pair. I use them mostly for lawn and garden work in dry conditions. I had to cut down a tree and there was about a 1/2 inch of snow on the ground and after 4 hours my socks were wet. The bead between the sole and the boot is breaking and I think that is how the water gets in. I will not buy another pair of Tiomberland boots.

The soles started to break in less than a year's wear. As they disintegrated, the comfort of the boot dropped significantly. This boot lasted less than half as long as I would expect.

Was a good boot until the soles on both sides are coming loose. Not sure if it is the oils and/or lubricants we use at work that cause the soles to come loose. I only had these boots a little over a year now and for the price I paid, it was a costly mistake. From now on I look for a boot with the sole sewn onto the boot.

This is the 4th pair of Timberland boots that I have owned over the years. I really like the fit, comfort and durability. Quality of materials and workmanship are excellent.

These boots are comfortable as soon as you put them on. No break in required.
